Check out this short list of surf films. You can see beautiful places, people, and of course surfing. To help guide you on what to watch we have complied a short list to get you started.

First up: The Yin and Yang of Surfing. This documentary covers the history of “the godfather of Pipeline” Gerry Lopez. Surfing has a very deep culture that goes back many many years, and mainstream surf culture has this person to thank for bringing it to the forefront for many.

Following close behind is a super fun short of our very first Canadian Olympic Surfer: Sanoa Olin (left). In the self titled Sanoa, we get a glimpse into this little ones progression. Her surfing skills have skyrocketed and she’s now competing in the WSL (World Surf League) Juniors. What a legend! Go Sanoa!
